St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic School

Girls’ volleyball is offered for girls in grades 6^th through 8^th at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Catholic School.  Typically a clinic/camp is offered in July, 5th graders are invited to attend the camp/clinic.  The season begins in August and ends in October.  The SMS volleyball team was undefeated during the 2008 season.  Practices are held in the SMS Life Center.   SMS volleyball players compete in the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area) Private Middle School League and for the past three years have competed in the Schofield Middle School Big Horn Bash.  SMS has won  this tournament every year since its inception.  Aiken High and South Aiken High  School Volleyball teams are populated with SMS alumni.
